Telecom Project Manager will be responsible for the effective management of all designated projects including schedules, coordination of all project deliverables with completion of milestones and working with the cross-functional project team including stakeholders, both internal and external team members and third-party contractors.

What You Will Do and The Outcomes You Will Achieve

Manage assigned projects from inception to completion focusing on fixed line order requirements from customer, Carrier order requirements, input into various Carrier order systems and the eventual order monitoring to Carrier installation. Complete understanding of circuit handoff, Carrier and Customer equipment including DEMARC extension.

·        Develop accurate project plan and time deliverables for all assigned projects.

·        Manage assigned projects from inception to completion focusing on fixed line order requirements from customer, Carrier order requirements, input into various Carrier order systems and the eventual order monitoring to Carrier installation. Complete understanding of circuit handoff, Carrier and Customer equipment including DEMARC extension.

·        Lead internal and external meetings to review the status of each job and implement changes as necessary.

·        Oversee telecom orders and manage vendors and contractors.

·        Work directly with the customer to provide comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise to ensure customer satisfaction.

·        Ensure that all jobs are documented and maintained in a project tracking system with complete accuracy.

·        Support sales team with revenue growth by providing technical advice and analysis. 

·        Assist provisioning with new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.

·        Attend provisioning meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.

·        All other related work as required.

Who You Are and What You Bring

·        Five (5) to Ten (10) years of fixed line ordering and installation experience with customer-facing project management experience.

·        Bachelor’s Degree and or equivalent work experience.

·        Knowledge of construction services: Telco, power, fiber, basic construction, vendor equipment requirements

·        Excellent communication, and time management skills and the ability to lead dynamic and challenging team members and projects

·        Project experience and ability to place orders with AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and all Cable companies.

·        Advanced knowledge of cabling including DEMARC extensions and managing CPE installation coordination required

Desired But Not Required

·        Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
